Dr. Igor Ristić

Dr Igor Ristić was born in 1972.  After graduating from the Belgrade University Faculty of Dentistry in 1996, he completed specialist studies in dental prosthetics in 2002 at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade, graduating with a dissertation entitled “Clinical procedures for the construction of a ceramic crown on a cast ceramic substructure”.

He has been owner and director of the Centre for Cosmetic Dentistry and Implants since 1999, striving to provide his patients with dental treatment of the highest international standard.  To meet this challenge he has assembled within the clinic a professional team which covers a variety of specialities and which is still constantly expanding.

Using state-of-the-art methods and new-generation technology in his day-to-day practice, he is also a clinical demonstrator and lecturer for 3M ESPE.  As a demonstrator and lecturer, he conducts workshops throughout Serbia and the region, providing information to dental professionals on various methods and techniques for making fillings and ceramic reconstructions, on achieving the most aesthetically pleasing results and on modern attitudes and trends in dentistry.
Dr Ristic has always sought professional development and has undertaken a variety of supplementary training abroad, such as at the University Clinic in Ulm, with Professor Haller, in the making of cosmetic reconstructions and with the renowned Swedish company NobelBiocare in the field of implants.  Dealing on a day-to-day basis with a variety of dental pathology, he is also the author and co-author of many professional papers and case studies presented at conferences and professional gatherings both at home and abroad.  He is the national chairman of the European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry (ESCD), a member and one of the founders of the Serbian Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Prosthetics Section of the Serbian Society of Physicians, the Balkan Association of Dentists and the European Association for Cosmetic Dentistry.  His further professional development is focused on adhesive dentistry, contemporary reconstruction materials and technology in the fields of cosmetic and computerised dentistry.

With his wife, Ivana, he has two children, Aleksa and Nađa.  He spends his free time with his family in the countryside or skiing with friends, motorcycling or on one of Belgrade’s rivers.

On your first visit, Dr Igor Ristić will make a detailed dental examination and listen to your requirements.  He will then, together with you, define a plan and pace for your therapy.  Further treatments are undertaken by specialist members of the professional team who will make the preparations for an eventual prosthetic resolution.  Dr Ristić will then produce a prosthetic reconstruction in line with proper dental principles and your requirements for the finished appearance.
